  1. the management of india has never impressed anyone. let's blame the british. they were in charge , impressed their ideas and even language, and britain's a mess, too. farm laws? every farmer i've met, granddad was one, figures they should be left alone from government management - until they need a cheap loan, until they need public investment in water supply, until they need price support. they are good-time capitalists, bad-time communists. of course, the situation is much worse in india, cows are sacred, instead of a large part of agribusiness.
