@thegoodpimps Totaliatarin China that killed 100 million of its people become a leaders? And you admire this fact? China that occupy Tibet? And you admire this?
situation involving the Uyghur (also spelled Uighur) Muslim minority in Xinjiang, China, has been widely described by human rights organizations, journalists, and several governments as a genocide or crime against humanity.
Here's a summary of what's been reported:
1. Detention camps:
Since around 2017, credible reports and satellite imagery have shown that over a million Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities have been detained in what the Chinese government calls “vocational training centers.” Detainees have reported indoctrination, forced labor, and abuse.
2. Forced labor and surveillance:
Uyghurs are subject to extreme levels of surveillance, including facial recognition, checkpoints, and constant monitoring. Many have been forced to work in factories under conditions considered coercive.
3. Religious and cultural suppression:
Islamic practices, Uyghur language use, and other cultural expressions have been severely restricted. Mosques have been demolished or repurposed, and religious leaders detained.
4. Forced sterilization and birth control:
Investigations have found that Uyghur women have been subjected to forced sterilizations, abortions, and birth control, leading to a sharp drop in birth rates in Xinjiang.
5. International responses:
The U.S. government, under both Trump and Biden, has formally declared the situation a genocide. Canada, the Netherlands, and some other countries have used similar language, while the United Nations has described the treatment of Uyghurs as possible crimes against humanity.

@wierdjared 2.2 million Arabs in Israel (21% of Israeli population) are doctors, layers, parliament members, TV hosts, professors at universities, high ranked police officers, generals in Israeli army, judges, diplomats. TV hosts, businesspeople. Indeed, the worst Apartheid in the world.
Arabs in Israel have more freedom and better livings than any other Arabs in Arab world.
They live in Freedom and Democracy in a country of law.
And that is unlike millions of Jews that were ethnically cleansed from Arab countries and their lands, homes, businesses were stolen. Those were very rich communities that owned lands that is 5 times bigger that Israel. They lived in those countries for 3000 years and were peaceful communities. Everything was stolen just because they Jews: Homes, properties, lands, businesses. This is where is a real Apartheid

@wierdjared After WW2, there were tens of millions of refugees in Europe - Germans, Poles and others. When India was partitioned in 1947, millions fled their homes. - both Muslims and Hindus. There were about 800,000 Jews who were either expelled of forced to leave Arab countries, their homes and land confiscated by Arab governments. Today there no European refugees, no refugees from India, no Jewish refugees. So why, after 75 years are the Palestinians still refugees? Because it is what the Arab governments wanted - to use them as political pawns.
No Israeli government will under any circumstances commit demographic suicide by permitting a "right of return". Does anyone seriously believe the same people who celebrated murdering Israelis on October 7th and firing rockets into Israel to intentionally kill Israeli civilians want to live peacefully with the Jews? The Palestinians need to be settled and given citizenship in the countries the live in. If a two-state solution between the Israelis and West Bank Palestinians comes to fruition, then the refugees could return to the West Bank, but not to Israel.
