If the Arabs had accepted the partition, there would have been no wars, no refugees and the Palestinians would be celebrating their 76th anniversary as an independent state encompassing the entire West Bank, Gaza and a third of pre-1967 Israel instead of the "nakba". The Arabs rejected the partition and launched a war with the stated goal of destroying Israel and annihilating its entire Jewish population and repeating the same thing in 1967.
