Even if they want to sell their oil and gas to others, they do not have the infrastructure to get it to canadian ports. They relied on US infrastructure even to flow to other canadian cities. The canadian auto industry is basically delocalized US companies to take advantage of the slight labor difference. That labor difference is less than 25%. The auto industry in Ontario will jump back the river home. Canada's economy is more tied to USA that Texas or California.

  4. I think it is worse than 77% to 17% numbers. Even when Canada sells to others, it flows through USA infrastructure. I bet more than half of the 17% is with Mexico.
