What people are forgetting when they say "oil will fall soon" is the fact that many countries are still developing and they are never going to use "clean energy" atlest until they reach the same height as most developed countries and nobdoy has any right to scold them for that so the more they grow the more oil they will buy this will keep oil demand high for at least the next century

@James Kamotho I have to give it to the guy above u on this one tribalism wasn't the state nature of Ethiopia as many are led to believe its tigrayans who started ethnic federalism to divide the country before that the country was divided in 3 political groups. loyalists to the monarchy,communists and democratic socialists (who sympathize with the monracy) its afrter the fall of the communists because they lacked popular support that tigrayans started spewing tribalism before that mengistu hailemariam (the commie) was an oromo,the highest ranking military commander in the times of haile silassie was a tigrayan from eritrea, the governor of ogaden was a yemeni etc all this time people never even mentioned tribes nobody even cared what tribe or even ethnicity people were, it's western supported groups who started it with them removed things will gradually return to how they were plus there is a rise in nationalists all over Ethiopia even if the government remove ethnic federalism the populace will because let me remind u that people never wanted this and are advocating for its removal its a source of economic and social problems for that reason the most popular opposition party in Ethiopia is a party that promised to remove ethnic federalism it gained popularity in a very short time that its able to criticize the government however they want because the government knows if they touch them the people will rise

major oil deposits are located in eastern africa Infact oil was discovered there before the gulf,forgotten because lack of instability but now they are stable and they are building infrastructure to tap the oil ,what i mean by all of this is they will obviously offer less prices and make the expensive greenenergy look even less attractive,like recently china built an entire oil refinery for Ethiopia,Ethiopia built highways to transport southsudanese & Ethiopian oil to the rest of the world,... they arent dependent on oil so making oil cheap wont hurt them much. countries started using green energy sources not b/c they care for the environment but because they fear iran and other sources are too far to access,eAfrica doesnt neighbor iran and is close to asia and africa so green countries will go back to their old ways

@Sigurd Torvaldsson Only 4-6 countries out of the 54 aftican countries are legitimate historical countries the rest are fictional countries that shouldn't have existed that cant develop nor let others develop for example ethiopia (real country)lost its sea coasts which was its back bone and was invaded multiple times by colonially fabricated countries like somalia and eritrea both are a hotmess that shouldn't have been allowed to exist, egypt lost large swats of farm land and resources because Britain fabricated sudan which should have been partitioned between egypt and ethiopia, benin (historical empire in nigeria not the fake one) was wiped out of existence and countless other examples. now look at countries like gambia,Djibouti,.. and i dare u to tell me that their existence is justified its hypocritical anyway u put it

U forgot kush (sudan) and more importantly axum (ethiopia) ,it doesn't get much credit but axum was ridiculously rich and powerful so much that 4th century Persian writer called mani included them when he said " the world has 4 powers those are rome,perisa,axum and china" 300 years before their climax among their achievements are the conquest of southern arabia,sudan and southern egypt,plus pretty much the entirety of the horn africa not to forget the largest monolithic oblisk erected by human kind,their own script and numbers,their own currency minted in gold,silver and bronze,a house heating system like the romans,the oldest example of the horse shoe arch which became popular after500yrs in andalusian Spain, large palaces,.. we know all of these achievements while only 3%-5% of their capital and not even 2% of their total territory is excavated however u put it those guys were a bigdeal there is no denying it

Wdym ethiopia is finally back on track and removing the last obstacle to get rid of ethnic federalism once and for all plus its opening up its almost isolated economy to foreign companies and investors they are on the right track if u ask me
