Actually what it was referring to was the religious conflict that happened between copts (which includes ethiopia) and eastern orthdoxs (which includes Byzantium/rome) , it ended with the recognition of zagwe dynasty ethiopia being recognized as the leader/protector of the copts a title which Byzantium held tightly before, so according to yemerhanna kristos(emperor of ethiopia) the prophesy was completed, plus shortly after Byzantium would suffer the consequences of the 4th crusades and ottoman conquest that would make it much weaker than ethiopia, mind u that by the 14th century it was a significant military power pretty much the sole power in the region because they crushed everyone else even later the ottomans wouldn't be able to conquer ethiopia while they succeeded in subduing rome/Byzantium.

Oh that's because most of ethiopias darker sides are never mentioned or intentionally ignored, pretty much the same horrible stuff that happened to russiasn happened to Ethiopians, invasions by bloodthirsty tribes,wide scale genocide,commies, throughout destruction of history, psycpsychopathic leaders u mention it, one of the kost regrettable episodes of Ethiopian history is the genocide and displacement of the harla,gafat,arggoba,harari, and maya abyssinians from eastern, western, central and southern ethiopia by cushitic oromo invaders(ethiopias mongols basically) in the 16th century ad, this can be traced as the single reason why ethiopia f**ked up and why abyssinians are today minority in their own land.

The empires name was actually habashat/abyssinia. Axum is just the name of a city state that grew phenomenally, it only stayed as a capital of the empire for like 600 years after that there were 2 more capitals called jamera and kubar according to arabic sources .

Saba was created in yemen and lasted between 1200bc-200ad they had control ober northern Ethiopia between probably 1000bc and 500bc (cant be confirmed because of the abundance of sabean temples,pottery and artifacts up to central Ethiopia) But they did have control over nejran (southern saudiarabian town) but its historical yemeni , saduiarabia and yemen even went to war over it.

Yes she was some where between 1000bc and 500bc northern Ethiopia and yemen used to be one under the sabaean kingdom (which was kind of a theocracy with a few monarchs here and there) the Ethiopian church got the stuff heavily mixed up tho thats for sure, saba as a kingdom would last until 200ad when himyar and axum(Ethiopia) would destroy it and partition the territory although both would claim complete dominance over the entire yemen.
