@Heo_Ashrafenko well i am pretty sure there is a lot of oil in Ethiopia plus some gold ,amd a lot of gem stons and coal plus a very strategic region and fyi back then it was not land locked it loaned Djibouti to france (but never got it back)and italy took Eritrea which was a part of Ethiopia at the time

@Heo_Ashrafenko its a well known fact that the horn of africa is a very strategic place thats not even debatable ,the suez was made to avoid the long journey through south africa after the canal was built the trade line along south africa pretty much became useless and forget oil what about the rest of the stuff including the nile I didn't understand ur last two sentences can u clarify them for me

@Heo_Ashrafenko well let us be honest it was the rebels which came from Eritrea (a country created by colonialism )that left Ethiopia in such a state, and somalia another country made by colonialism weakened Ethiopia and made it vulnerable

@Heo_Ashrafenko and i will repeat it once more Ethiopia wasn't landlocked before colonialism and it's last port was given to Eritrea by Eritrean allies who used to control ethiopia but they later went in war with each other and the war lasted for 30 years until it was stop two years ago
