@billyrayrain not exactly oromo has more native speaker but in the total number of speakers(native and non native) amharic us wayyy ahead of oromo and will stay that way because most Ethiopia would prefer amharic over oromo

@guywhousesapseudonymonyout4272 i am pretty sure they had some torah and they knew some Hebrew since what Ethiopian jews did for living back in the days was crafting stuff and they mainly made silveramulets some of them had hebrew blessings carved on them if they didn't know any hebrew how did they know how to write the blessings (but this was only seen in jews in the mountains parts of Ethiopia where at some time they made a kingdom of their own before they were annexed and often killed or forced to convert )

As far as i know the descendants of solomon are the solomonic dynasty, these jews are just people who settled in Ethiopia from yemen(because yemen was an Ethiopian colony and it was jewish) and israel

@salihibrahim562 nah i am 100% sure that most amharic words are drived either from ge'ez south arabian or akkadian and the proofs is the striking similarities between south Ethiopia semitic languages(which has been isolated from amharas and the tribes that speak those languages are descendants of mehri and other south arabian tribes according to several evidence)and the huge similarities between akkadian and amharic ,the only language that really affected amharic are coptic and south arabian ,there are some cushitic loaned words but loaning words doesn't really change a language group gor example modern Hebrew borrow alot of words from other languages but its still semitic ,but nilotic thats laughable since there isn't even a single similarity with nilotic here are completely different and there isn't even loaned words from nilotics most nilotics that are in Ethiopia now migrated very recently the largest of them migrated from south sudan in the last two centuries so nilotic is out of the picture
