@MarokoJin idk wtd aur talking about but I am 100% sure that this guy was a black morrocoan and there some black morrocoans if u don't know , another thing Europeans had little grasp of what subsaharan africans looked like and they were more familiar with north african look so infact hey thought the complete opposite the only subsaharam county that Europe had a history with is probably Ethiopia and Ethiopians literally look liked what u imagine an arab who spent a couple of days in some really hot sun would look like dark-light skinned but same facial features as arabs

@-3696 bruh i study semitic languages sabaean was between arabic and ge'ez but very slightly related its basically a semitic language isolate by all standards and btw there are no more sabaeans left they were all killed by himyarites who were intern mostly defeated by habeshis but still survived for example the royal family of uae are himyarites
1
@-3696 bruh a language isolate doesn't necessarily mean an isolated language it means a very unique language like how Armenian is an indoeuropean language but it's drastically different and unique so we call it an indo European language isolate , ge'ez is actually closer geographically and linguistically to sabaean mainly because sabaean and ge'ez preserved some pronunciations and sounds which are lost to the rest for example the sound ts neither arabic nor hebrew has it , himyarites are not sabaeans they are not even classified under the 3 south semitic language classification which sabaean and ge'ez both are included in saba is just one of the many kingdoms in south arabia at some point it ruled all of Southern arabia including raydan , hadramaut ,.. sabaeans were the first semites to come to southern arabia while arabs and himyarites were the last And also sabaean sounda nothing like aramaic infact the only aramaic words in sabaean are mostly loan words and also they are only found in late sabaean , some arabs do have sabaean admixture but there are no culturally , religiously or linguistically sabaean people left on the language was even lost until archeologists found a rosseta stone of sorts in northern Ethiopia it was a tablet written in three languages ge'ez, greek and sabaean it served as the only means to decipher sabaean

@-3696 and yes all semitic languages share similarities but sabaean doesn't have a drastic similarity with north semitic compared to lets say the similarities between syriaic and arabic
1
@-3696 non of these are sabaean by sabaean i mean the first semitic settlers in southern Arabia all of those u mentioned came later the kingdom of saba was destroyed the second time by himyarires in the 3rd century while the kingodm of himyar was destroyed by habashis in the 6th century its a qell known fact no himyarit kingodm was established after that which led to the decline of himyarite culture and language which in turn led to the extinction of the himyarite language which is nothing like the sabaean language yes modern yemenis are descendants of ancient south arabians but they have been arabized they didn't retain himyaite culture, language or anything except their last names and also yes many central arabs have settled in yemen but ancient yemenis are still the majority u probably already know this but most of himyaites and sabaeans actually left yemen and went to iraq, jordan and other places
1
@-3696 saba it self was just one of many yemenite kingdoms and dynasties not the entire southern arabia don't forget that
1
@-3696 the Minaeans had their own language and kingdom the qatabanis had their own language and kingdom , the hadramis had their own language and kigdom and the sabaeans had their own language and culture the difference is non of the others became as successful as saba
1
@-3696 we are not getting anywhere with this bye
