What? Crocodiles have attack lions on land and in water. Any crocodile 17-20 feet is supiror to any lion.

@yourstruly1234 lions agility dosent apply to a crocodile. Crocodile have fast striking speed plus there bony plating known as scutes that protect it from attacks. A lions jaws produce only 600 pounds of jaw power, witch wont do nothing to a crocodiles armor.

@titfortat5727 first of all, yes lions do kill prey twice its size but you have apprehen that crocodiles are not prey they are apex predators. When a two predators fight its not the same like a lion taking down a buffalo. Lions are never seen killing a crocodile twice its size. Even the biggest crocodiles are supiror.

@damianmahendran8885 I think you got this whole thing backwards, lions are the only big cat that are effective in groups. They are the only social big cat to day. It only takes one crocodile larger then 16feet to go up against a group of lions. Why do you think lions kill prey in groups? There success hunt is only 30% same with crocodiles. Do you really think a 20 foot 2,000 pound crocodile is gonna backdown to some pesky cat?

@alphawolf8031 lions and crocodiles are both apex predators, both have a success hunt of at least 30%. A lion can fair against an 11 foot crocodile bunt no lion alone can stand a chance against a 18 foot 2000 pound monsters.

@wannaim6499 undoubtedly lions are strong in their own right. But let me tell you, crocodiles can out grow, and out weigh any lion. The video of the lions feasting on the dead crocodile proofs it takes more then two lions to subdue one crocodile. One lerge crocodile, 18 feet, is supiror to any lion.

@masonjones5721 what is your honest take? A 20foot, 2,000 pound nile crocodile, or 600 pound 8 foot lion. If you looke at my links you should know. Some people forget how gigantic crocodiles can get they literally out grow male lions by a huge margin, well amord and extreamly durable, when two crocodiles fight they rip arms and legs off eachother, but that is only consider minor injuries. Lion avoid jury at all times, lion want to be at there highest strength when hunting prey, not risk it on a nothere top predator 10x there size. Even group of lions struggle to subdue a small crocodiles.

There stamina is very low on land, but bacuse they have bony plated armor, known a scuts they dont have to worry about jaws or claws. Try shalow water where its at least 50/50 chance with medium size crocodile.

A 14 foot crocodiles weighs 900 pound no way a lion can hold it so casually. Sorry that an 8foot crocodile. I can tell the difference between big and small crocodiles because I've been a round them.

@masonjones5721 exactly, crocodile have low stamina but that doenst mean they are taken lightly, thats why lion avoid confrontation with crcodiles, they only confront them if they are threatening ther young or trying to steal there food. As you can see many videos of lions and crcodiles fighting over food. Not dominance.

@Pllm30 Big cats, of a low kill success rate. Lions have a success rate of 25%- 30%. Tigers 10%. The black footed cat, a small spices of cat has a higher kill success rate of 60%. big cats do hunt large, and dangerous prey, but hunting easy prey is more Preferred.
