  1.  @gamebook727  there had been consideration of converting the Caracciolo, in the 20s, but was dropped, as Drac said, because land based air was thought to provide adequate cover. I would be concerned about the structural integrity of a converted liner. Maybe converting Impero would have been a better move?

  2. The navalized Stuka certainly looked the business. Maybe a squadron of them, plus whatever they can come up with for a fighter.
