  1. A friend of mine was AESOp in Canadian SeaKings in the 70s and usually embarked on ships. He has talked about those beer vending machines, but, as the aircrew was on call 24/7 he could not indulge. On one occasion there were some USN people on his ship, One guy could not stay off of that beer machine, and became quite a problem.
