Italy and Greece both added former Austrian and German destroyers and cruisers to their fleets, but seems no-one wanted the battleships. Italy was allocated a Tegetthoff, and scrapped it. France used it's Tegetthoff for target practice. Given the state of French capital ships at the end of the war, I wonder if anyone considered claiming the Mackensens as reparations, towing them to France, and completing them, using the guns that had been built for the Normandies.
