  1.  @imprisongroverfurr5252  my first hunch is Gallipoli is not painted as "good vs evil", because the Ottoman army won. That fights the narrative that "good" will always defeat "evil". As luck would have it, I just finished rewatching "Band Of Brothers". The "why we fight" episode is very much the "good vs evil" narrative.
