In August 2014, the union forced VAG to cancel a consulting contract with McKinsey, because McKinsey always, always, calls for taking money out of the line workers, exclusively. McKinsey never recommends eliminating redundant divisions and vanity projects. McKinsey never asks for any sacrifice by the management that hired them. It is always taking money out of the line workers.
