  1. So, what, specifically, don't people like about Vance? He seems to be in a no-man's land, where ardent Trumpers look at his "never Trumper" comments, while the never-Trumpers look at his pro-Trump comments. And, with Harris presumably heading the Dem ticket, opening the door to openly racist thought and speech, Vance's non-white, non-Christian wife is another issue. How could a Trump administration be pushing Christian nationalist (aka white supremacist) ideology, when the second lady is neither? There is a precedent for replacing a VP candidate who turns out to be toxic. We old geezers remember when Tom Eagleton, was replaced as McGovern's running mate in 72.
