Sounds like an analysis of most of the companies I worked at, in the US private sector. Management always built an echo chamber around itself, and filled it only with people who would only tell management what it wanted to hear. I was astounded at the delusional, self-aggrandizing nonsense that came out of management's mouth, but the yes-men were right there to tell the honchos how brilliant they were. Anyone who dared "tell truth to power", better start updating their resume, because, like Bill Barr, when he pushed back on the "rigged and stolen election" narrative, they would quickly be pushed out of the company.
