I lost a race at work 2 days in row to a middle-aged woman who is privileged and has the personality of Cher from 1995 movie Clueless due to closed-minded country folk from the rural south, a roommate of brother almost in his 40s (turing 39 in this month)whom I share a house with over circumstances going apeshit and breaking things in our house because things don't always go our way since the washing machine is messing up, an older dog whose is catching up at 13 years wondering when if he will get sick the next day but he is in good health so far (first actually pet I've had in my life), a mom with bad kidneys on dialysis that needs a kidney (she refuses my kidney), a dad who is hypochondriac since he is worried about his health, I just dipped into my savings to spend a little over usd1000 for a motor mount and rack and pinion replacement in my vehicle (used honda over 200,000 miles) I use for work, a leaking roof (our house is kind of old and hoping it doesn't fall apart because otherwise I might not have a home due to financial issues) from tropical storm Debbie, coworkers who probably aren't my friends ( some of them act like they're still in high school and are biased) and alienate me at work, a job that is always coming up with new ways to cut my salary every other month, still trying to lose weight (I'm obese according to my bmi), and despite all of that, I'm still hanging in there saving money for my trip to Japan this October regardless of earthquake and tsunami warnings and walking almost 6 miles or around 10km a almost every day or doing other calisthenics to lose weight, trying to refresh my Japanese (nihongo since I fell off with the hiragana and simple phrases) and I refuse to give up because it's far from fucking over.
This is a long paragraph of an early 30 something year old millennial in today's society.
