  1. ​ @kalkstein2694  no one complained because the protagonist wasn't a real person. Altaïr and Ezio were placed around historical figures, but not real people themselves. They are also pretty representative of their area, which is important when blending in. Honestly I think it's dumb having a samurai as a player character in an AC game in Japan when ninja are the obvious candidate. You can claim AC is pseudo history and that's reasonable, but when you also try and say you have experts then it becomes a debate. Add in all the other mistakes and it starts looks bad. Then there is the way they dismissed all the criticism has Western people making those claims at the same time they pulled the game for an expo in Japan.
