  3. I think the problem is that a lot of companies and managers bring an "all about me" point of view and a very combative attitude about it. If the average employee is doing 10 of something a day and you can do 20, they will expect 20 from you and criticise you if you do 15. And don't expect anything extra for your extra output, that would be selfish of you and unfair on others.
