Taxes and unions you can deal with. Governments which print cash while controlling currency exchange and randomly decide to expropriate property, you can not.

@MichaelDavis-mk4me it's not a matter of playing your cards right. You need to play your cards right, be lucky and need an Argentinean government that lives in the real world to stay in power. Maybe if it was a country which didn't spend most of the last century making poor ecconomic choices but not Argentina.

@scottfranco1962 it's quite different. Very few countries are anywhere near as bad as Argentina. While in most countries the argument could be over a 1 or 2% tax increase or decrease, they argue over things like whether companies should be allowed to return any profits at all to head office.

The biggest problem Argentina has is that when they elect a sensible government it doesn't attract as much investment as it normally would because everyone knows they'll just turn around in a few years and elect a crazy one.
