So Deepseek is just karma balancing things out?
212
The team might mean something to you but it's just a tax tool and a play thing to them.
126
Mavs fans should block gambling in the state till the end of time to send a message.
74
@Ehh..... they going to tarrif Taiwanese made chips. Lol that fab is the only one who can make bleeding edge silicon. It's just a 25% tax on Americans at that point
66
"Back in my day we had polio and smallpox" Ok, should we bring them back too?
49
It's the only way they'll learn.
44
@LuridCasperTV there's no way a person could play a game 20 hours everyday for a month and not understand the basic fundamentals of that game.
30
"Chen, are we the goodies?"
25
@petertrueteller8043 even with the best gear, he wouldn't be that high on the leader board with play like that. There's also the question of how he could have played the game for hundreds of hours and not know basic functions of the game.
12
@simpletown323 The Germans are on to something with that 50+1 rule. Teams owned by the fans is the go.
12
23:17 "they left us and went to Taiwan" Bro, what you think the T in TSMC stands for? They never left, they always been Taiwanese.
10
@George-y3q3i "why they shouldn't open source"? "Because money" would be the real answer. Fortunately open source might win regardless.
9
It's like crab mentality. Things were shit for me, they should be shit for you. Fuck that! I feel like if we're not making things better for the next generation, we're failing in a way.
6
In a cave, with a box of scraps too.
5
@williamferguson8543 so you're pro corporate serfdom?
4
I feel like if you put trust in someone's financial advice based on their TD-Int ratio or 3PT percentage, you're asking for trouble.
3
I wanna know what Portugal did.
3
In both cases a pet rock would have done a better job too.
2
You need preferential/alternative voting. If you list the candidates in order you'd be set.
2
I'm guessing there's something(s) embarrassing involved that Netflix doesn’t want to be public. Could be the CEO or some other higher ups were directly involved in the stupidity.
2
@Tristan Verheecke the man was simply explaining what advertisers expect. The advertisers want control over who they are paying to see their ads. Advertisers don't want to hear "trust me bro, we'll find good people to show this to", they want to hear "we'll show it to exactly who you want".
2
How are they "too big to fail"? OpenAI goes belly up tomorrow it's not going to change much.
1
@deepspacecow2644 that would be even worse for US customers. Best case, TSMC's plant might be up and running around 2027/28 and nobody else is close to them in terms of the lastest fabs.
1
@deepspacecow2644 damn. RIP US gamers
1
@Alex-cw3rz it would have been justified if Musk's predictions about the technological breakthroughs he promised had materialised on time. Of course the word "if" is doing some really heavy lifting in that sentence and it also assumed other car makers were going to struggle as well.
1
Citibank involved in crime... in other news water is wet, grass is green
1
@jaxrages8678 true, but at the same time deepseek doesn't use memory in the same way as like ChatGPT so it was likely done on with chips that weren't banned until now.
1
People are saying don't scam the rich but I think the biggest problem for SBF was he scammed so many people and in a way the average person can understand. This meant it was an massive story with tons of media attention. A lot of powerful "friends" will help, but not at the risk of their political careers. It's like Epstein. He had friends trying to bail him out, but the second it became a worldwide story, those friends abandoned him.
1
@niteuqrellin5312 tbf, how many Americans roast Chinese online about things like the F22 without even being able to explain the most basic principles of aerodynamic lift?
1
@1wakuralain I laughed that Musk wanted to add that after getting people put their hands up. He's like a little kid at times.
1
Musk's recent actions Bud Light's Dylan Mulvaney campaign: "Finally, a worth opponent. Our battle shall be legendary!"
1
@st.altair4936 I might disagree how common the W is for the PRC, but this is a big W for them either way.
1
Xi is like a bully who really wants to pick on people but knows he'll get clapped if he tries.
1
That court room sketch of SBF might be the birth of a meme. Their instagram, them in real life. Or How I think I look going out, how I actually look.
1
Chapter 7 😄
1
@isaacfullerton I think openAI was always the villain, we just took a minute to see it.
1
It's white collar rich people jail.
1
@alexc6926 Google and Microsoft (and the rest) use tons of open source in their products and services. How would this be any different? Ignoring the fact that this is a Chinese business with no EV or battery production.
1
Both the defence and prosecution are given time to prepare arguments. Those arguments, if persuasive, can have a major impact on the length of his sentence.
1
@Lucaz99 that's what the communists what you to think! /s
1
Given his actions I'm starting to think it might not have been an act
1
I've never a Chinese brand car in Australia. Looking online however it seem there are US and European brands are selling cars in Australia that they made in China.
1
@flametoooth the US election system is cool to watch, it's a mess but it is an entertaining mess. Lol
1
@flametoooth the Senate protects those states interests. At the moment most states don't matter at all because everyone knows they are voting red or blue. In the current system only purple states matter.
1
@flametoooth the current system means only purple states matter. If you're in a soild red or blue states you're vote doesn't mean anything. If it was on the total vote, everyone's vote would count.
1
@zagreus5773 I guess we'll see what happens when he'll goes bankrupt.
1
@mekullag there would also be the obligatory 3 counts of wire fraud too.
1
Haha! He committed fraud in an obvious way while leaving a paper trail and witnesses. Then was silly enough to think he could liar his way out of it.
1
@The_whales out of the pockets of people who bought at the top of the market.
