@deepspacecow2644 that would be even worse for US customers. Best case, TSMC's plant might be up and running around 2027/28 and nobody else is close to them in terms of the lastest fabs.

@alexc6926 Google and Microsoft (and the rest) use tons of open source in their products and services. How would this be any different? Ignoring the fact that this is a Chinese business with no EV or battery production.
