@kayimamosielu3566 most of the Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered are dead. In most cases directly killed by the Russians, indirectly in many others. Look at the condition he is in. He looks like he might have come from a Japanese POW camp in WW2. They didn't deserve respect for failing to follow the Geneva Convention.

@adufro yes yes, it's everyone else's fault that Russia is upset it's not a world power anymore and wants to invade other countries. Not Russia's fault that Russia is committing war crimes, it's the other countries who made Russia do it. Blah blah blah.

@managerofthebotfarm7111 it must hurt your pride as a Russian seeing people like him still standing. To see a defender of the steel works still on his feet after all that fighting and torture. It's a symbol for the whole country of Ukraine in there brave stand against Russian invasion. Remember all the talk about how powerful the Russian military was meant to be? Now it's getting pushed back by Ukraine and even routed in areas. Elite Russian units destroyed, a flagship sunk and hundreds of thousands fleeing rather than fight in the military. The Russian military didn't get better under Putin, it got worse.
