@Sinaeb Elon Musk, for all his flaws, has delivered working products. Tesla for example has issues with quality control but they are selling cars that work.

@kevjtnbtmglr they had a working prototype when he got into Tesla. It wasn't good or something that could be put into production but it did exist. The other thing is that no one was disputing that electric cars are physically possible.

Look at who was investing. They were rich, they were famous but there wasn't a medical or engineering degree between them. As more famous people invested, potential investors could suffer from the fear of missing out. And the cycle became self perpetuating.

@xxstealerxx don't underestimate how big of a role her looks played in all of this. She's probably in the goldilocks zone of attractive enough for people to want to bang her but not too attractive to be taken seriously. There's been a few studies about hotness and success in the business world.
