  1. How can so many people be so stupid!? The government is going to pay to clear the wreckage so they can open the port ASAP! Then the government is going to pay to build a new bridge. And in 10 years or so, after all the legal stuff connected to this disaster is figured out, the insurance companies will write checks to the government for what it cost to build the bridge and clear the port.

  3. They will, in 10 years or so. There's a lot of legal stuff that needs to be done before they pay up. In the meantime, they want that port opened ASAP and a new bridge built. Years from now the insurance company will write a check to the government.

  5. Yes, the insurance company will pay for it. After a lot of investigation, and court cases the insurance company will pay up. In the meantime, they want that port open and the bridge built before all the legal stuff is even started.
