"Thank god they weren't in their room." Why didn't god stop the storm!?

Ok, faith heads! People died even though you prayed. Do you now see that prayer doesn't help!?

@michaelccopelandsr7120 Except that I do know, and there's numerous studies that back me up. You're delusional if you believe prayer works.

@michaelccopelandsr7120 No, it doesn't. It gives false hope!

@michaelccopelandsr7120 It gives them false hope, and that's worse than no hope!

@RitaRiley-w4d I just can't help myself!

@BerniceRule Well, your double negative is a little confusing, but I'll try. Every study ever done on prayer has shown it doesn't work. It doesn't matter that you think otherwise. It doesn't work, and my asking that question shows it doesn't work.

@michaelccopelandsr7120 Yes, it is. Those people who died in that storm are proof prayer doesn't work. People prayed for them, and they probably prayed for themselves, but they died anyway. This is the part where you make up an excuse to absolve your god of any wrongdoing.

@michaelccopelandsr7120 No, you're not going to win, because all the evidence is against you. You can believe whatever you want, but that belief won't make it true. And just so you know, the evidence against prayer is not belief. You have belief. Science has facts. Anything you have to say against those facts is just you crying like a baby because you don't like being shown you're wrong. I don't care about your personal experiences because they aren't evidence. Along with your faith, belief, and whatever your holy book of fairytales says. They aren't evidence either. And if you think they are, you don't know what evidence is.
