All this AI bubble crap is based on the misguided idea that consumers will accept it. Dumb as they are on average, I do not see most people willing to accept these "solutions" in any way, shape or form.

@Kalenz1234 Well, not exactly, chess algorithms are based on exhaustive search, neural nets trained on example data are function approximators trying to imitate said data.

Speak for yourself. I neither use nor hate them.

Lol another commie channel it seems. The "capitalist system" is what eliminates sleazy overpriced politically-tied companies like Beyond Meat leaving room for other companies that deliver actual affordable and demanded products.
2
People do not avoid these products because they don't have money or they don't care about environment. They avoid them because they realized that they are being lied to by the "climate saviors". It's a little bit like the corona vaccines - the huge sleazy marketing campaigns for them and coercion were the nail in the coffin causing people to become (very) skeptical about both the product and its sellers. In other words, go woke, go broke, the proved recipe for catastrophe in any business.

Uhh but the "beyond meat" products were vastly overpriced not just in comparison to meat, but also in comparison to other vegan fake meats. So the only real reason why their failed is marketing expenses and corporate greed.

Not sure if you notice, but "climate crisis" is no longer the official concern (i.e. top-spun fairy tale) it used to be - since the war in Ukraine (and possible conflict with China).

The main goal of AI is not to "sell you more stuff", it is to win wars. And make everyone less free and poorer overall, as is required by the superrich elites who are running a planet with dwindling resources and still growing population.

Theres is an even older word for this trend, which will blow your mind: misery (as in: being a miser).

It took me 10 minutes into the video to figure out wtf "core" is supposed to mean. I was thinking toward "the pretended core is underconsumption, but all around it we keep overconsuming af still". Which in hindsight may even have been a correct train of thought.

My prediction is that what will come from AI will be a huge market crash, which will require taxpayers to jump in to bail out the "too big to fail" companies, just like they had to around 2007. Overall, it will mean that many people's life savings (such as managed in pension funds) will be lost (or better said, transferred to people running the AI scam today because they will make sure to securely stash their ill-gotten gains before shit hits the fan). In worst case, AI may lead to WW3 because of the turmoil and social unrest caused by this economic collapse (politicians will be quick to point to "foreign enemies", rather than the scammy tech gonzos, as those who are to blame for the disaster).
