  28. @Samantha Wilson To any person who can speak? Actually, if he's just deaf, rather than deaf-mute, he could have ordered himself the normal way. Disability might not be their fault (although sometimes it is), but it always is their problem, and most disabled people do realize that and behave accordingly. Those who don't are about just as bad as any entitled person.

  33. The reality is that most meat substitutes do not taste like meat. But there are some that come really damn close without any 3D printing. I'm pretty sure you would not be able to tell the "sausage" manufactured by Veganz from a real sausage. But of course the texture of sausage is relatively easy to fake... and real sausages don't have not that much meat in them either.

  42. It's quite new to me (on a vegan diet) that I should oppose shearing sheep... or trimming your dog's hair... or cutting your own hair for that matter. I'd say the view of vegans (at least those subset who are concerned about animal welfare) is that you should not raise sheep for mass production of meat (but you can have them as pets, and of course shear them).

  49.  @JaseekaRawr  Actually, most beggars waste whatever they are given on booze and drugs. Then they come asking for more. For most it's a lifestyle. Those who are in need and not mentally messed up do not go on the street, they can bounce back using normal social support... It's rare that a person gets into that situation with no fault of their own (practically the only credible explanation is some sort of terrible illness combined with no family).
