You come here for shock, you get shock. Poor you.

+Vegan Eats Ⓥ cutting added sugar doesn't hurt if you replace it with fruits

RecArt Actually I know from my first-hand source that AK-47s are commonly available in Ukraine. You can obtain one for $100. The rioters didn't use such weapons not because they were inaccessible but because they've had no reason. Also there's a video floating around where some rioters trying to break into a building are actually shot from inside using some automatic weapon. So it's bs that the Ukrainian people are unarmed.
5
"what are you saving for though" how about freedom from bullshit?
5
You forget it's not journalism, it's Vice. Entertainment for the lowest common denominator of braindead American kids.
3
RapidFire175 That's why Afghanistan and Syria are the safest place on Earth right now. Because everyone owns an AK-47.
3
Dan Mc Cann Actually the idea of "helping them" is suspect - it feeds not just their body, but also the victim mentality that they have been wronged by the system. However, with that mentality you're never going to get out the hole, you will just remain the smoking drunkard who feels sorry for himself/herself and/or angry at other people.
3
Because he needed the money and nobody else wanted to become the donkey fuck dude.
3
what credibility?
2
unfortunately there is no speed 4x option in youtube to watch it. edit: actually wouldn't bother even with 4x speed, it's utterly pointless
2
She's basically a product which is trying to sell itself, not so much different from other (wannabe) celebrities.
2
they try to keep their reporters similar to the viewers (dumb)
2
Pay back your debt, thieves!
2
Eric Cartman Correct, I see these homeless people who have a shelter nearby buying cigs and booze every fucking day. You can't complain that you're poor and then go spend your money on cigs/booze because your food and accomodation is free. That's not "depressed" that's plain imbecile ... or more likely a choice of a lifestyle which involves less effort than alternatives. Most of these people are living in a sort of an isolated sub-society, they have their homeless friends to share booze/cigs with, they keep pet animals and generally are having a "good social time" of their own on the street - using other people's money, of course, and not really attempting to change anything because after all "it's the evil system" that is wrong and they are just "victims".
2
apparently he cannot afford any physical exercise
2
They're all very Catholic, mind you. Probably more pious than yourself.
2
Maybe they should grow the fuck up before becoming mothers?
2
Ralph Fraz The point is to escape the rat race and not be influenced by douchebags like this moron in this video.
2
(s?)he's ugly
1
I agree, it's almost as upsetting as putting pink clothes on your dog.
1
@jellyfishattack It's very simple, really. Violence is where you draw the line. Next question?
1
+REALthugnasty dutch sounds like german with a weird english accent
1
Jair Assaad So Dutch is just a minor incorrect dialect of German language. I'll remember this on my next trip to Holland and teach them to speak properly.
1
Quisite luckily I don't care about my seem
1
Not only that, but it's ridiculous that people get so attached to a particular place. If some rich mofo wanted to throw all his money at a shitty apartment in my crowded neighborhood, the correct reaction would be to let him do, laugh at him, try to participate in ripping him off and then move elsewhere while his empty "investment" rots in place. Also, if the place is left empty or populated by some rich foreign assholes, you wouldn't like to live in their vicinity anyway as a patriotic British wage earner, would you? So who says gentrification is bad for you, it just helps sort together groups of people with similar traits and ideologies. It's not like the center of the city is the "best" place to live (if only there is proper infrastructure available on the outskirts, which there will be if many people live there).
1
Endy Enderson how about Legolas in LOTR lol
1
Endy Enderson Duke Nukem?...
1
I hear scams and prostitution are popular ways of making money in impoverished and corrupted Ukraine and few people out there actually care for normal work.
1
David Hasslehoff No, the shallow attention deficit span bro-style presentation is just catering to audience. It's common in all VICE content (and hey, it works!)
1
I was wondering why Vice wasn't doing a documentary on poverty in Russia (that's the official "enemy", isn't it?), but then saw this scene with "A Taste of Multiculture" and remembered, oh, it's the "multiculture" and islam that must be blamed. All clear now.
1
with the dog done, she's up next
1
MaTtRoSiTy hopefully your employer reads it
1
MaTtRoSiTy That's the spirit!

fake and ugly
1
+teppi sekasi actually it's just boring as fuck

Dan Mc Cann So what you say basically confirms what I said - and congratulations on realizing. It's easy to notice when you listen a bit to how people speak - not just homeless people - that the attitude to blame others and perceive oneself as victim is very common, it's maybe even the natural default attitude of humans. On the other hand, you will find very little of that in people who we consider "successful". Basically a poisoned mind makes all sorts of bad things happen and tragically these events reinforce the poison. It's a vicious circle and hard to get out of, but "helping" by giving alms and expressing "empathy" is not going to break it either. The only people who need our help and empathy are those who are severely sick, very old or disabled. And even such people often do not wish to be "helped" by society but are brave to struggle and succeed on their own.
1
By the way, read Article 2 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. There you will find out that killing rioters is not a problem. It makes sense to some extent because if it wasn't, foreign-financed riots would be a perfect way to overthrow and replace elected governments. Yanukovych's police force in fact has shown a lot of restraint.
1
right, everything must be "greatest" in USA - with a clear tendency toward greatest shit
1
You may be right about the driving distance, but I doubt it's more economic in total, considering the efforts of food preparation. He is missing "economies of scale". Now he can of course use his free time as he sees fit, but it is not "less wasteful" in a macroeconomic perspective. What I mean is that if everyone started behaving that way, everyone would be worse off because of the extra cost/effort.
1
sometimes
1
1. vote some fuckers into govt 2. cheat on taxes 3. riot and demolish 4. ??? 5. profit?
1
driving in his car for miles to pick up a few pounds of roadkill, then wasting energy preparing it... i doubt if that approach is not "wasteful" compared to an industrial-scale butchery or agriculture operation. it's just a weird hobby, nothing more.
1
lol wut? German alcoholics?...
1
until money runs out. then it's suicide
1
It wasn't exactly them who invited America & Britain to take care of them - remember?
1
The funny thing is that even if he thought otherwise, he would not dare express it on camera. Now you can think about whose mind and freedom are more constricted, the Colombian juvenile donkey fucker's or the American adult hipster reporter's.
1
I guess the donkeys have the very simple option to protectively kick them in the nuts instead of munching on grass. Also, considering the size of an average Colombian compared to an average donkey, the whole act probably does not leave the donkey ladies particularly impressed.
1
They sort of told us - they're selling dreams. In other words it's fake and gay.
1
it's the national anthem of USSR...
1
Then maybe you should describe what's so cruel about it. The animals don't seem in pain, otherwise they'd react or walk away.
1
@Danika Kennedy Well, we don't know enough to tell. The guy in the video did not seem to hate the donkey nor want to "punish" it. Finally, for it to be "punishment", it would have to cause discomfort/pain to the animal, and it is just your assumption that it really does. What if the donkey got a reward for her compliance? How is it different than making the donkey pull a cart then?
1
perfect until you run out of cash
1
they don't feed him if he doesn't dance
1
Given that the only reward for being a billionaire is being locked at the top floor of a concrete cage in some city with other assholes and underlings who hate your guts and would most gladly rob you, I'm not so sure if it's such a great incentive for making some great effort towards it. But hey, you do you.
1
Don't worry they probably don't empathize with you either. Which makes you equal.
1
The donkey be like: "These crazy monkeys feed me, give me shelter, and even take care of my sex needs, so they must really love me. But why oh why do they make me pull the fuckin cart."
1
extremely predictable
1
That would be $273 per hour working 8 hour days 365 days a year. Unlikely for some bimbo being paid by the hour employed by a club which must also cover expenses!
1
Sur,e your fatass momma has a bigger one, and she even scares smaller elephants with it, but she's in a class of her own.
1
either that or he knows how to behave on camera to prove idiots like you into commenting
1
One important question went unasked: which brand of canned food does he feed to his cat?
1
Well, it would be interesting to know whether they are paying taxes or taking advantage of social services. Believe it or not, it is not generally feasible in our overpopulated world for people to dress up in white and look after green pastures singing religious songs and tending to cows. Hence, I strongly suspect that the good people here are in fact parasites and the cult an unsustainable ponzi scheme (where new followers bring in goods obtained in their prior "sinful" life).
1
Being born and raised in some place is accidental and so does not provide you any more rights or claims to resources of this place as being born elsewhere. Note that this works both ways: your natural claims to any other resource on Earth should be equal to those of people who have been born and raised elsewhere. All such claims should be non-existent until you have earned them, but the key to understand is that any accidental features of your origin should not matter.
1
I guess because unlike some other fuckers, they are not beating the donkeys or killing the donkeys to eat them, just fucking them and leaving them in good condition to be fucked the other day.
1
Kurt Steinmuller lol "just routine oil changes" ... and that's why cars hold value so well, eh?...
1
Kurt Steinmuller No, they aren't. Older cars are valued less foremost because they require so much more maintenance than newer cars.
1
buyer beware - when the economy collapses in russia aggressive folks with sticks and stones are going to take away this guy's trampoline. you don't wanna be there when this happens
1
before science other stupider things used to destroy us (they worked quicker too)
1
Well there used to be a time when there were too few humans to cope against the evil nature, but nowadays there are too many humans on Earth. Yet they multiply like rabbits (actually faster). BTW this is what the "holy" bible prescribes. "No free lunch" and price tag on everything and murderous competition are all aftereffects.
1
maybe all extraterrestials are gingers, hence no soul
1
Yes, that's probably easier than moving factories once they are built.
1
I think the idea is to spend money and effort on building good facilities everywhere so that there's no point in attacking other people to obtain them, and consequently no point in spending on defense. But humanity doesn't work that way - most people derive their happiness from the relative misfortune of others.
1
Hurray, just as japanese have managed to distill relationship into neat little packages vice has managed to make another short shitty shallow video to entertain its juvenile audience!
1
actually they are pretty racist
1
stupid people are stupid
1
Trust me, you wouldn't want people to rely on their natural instincts...
1
The presenter surely dresses badly.
1
pick 3 random guys. buy them some drinks. call them yakuza on camera. presto!
1
He snuggled the ass.
1
of course it is
1
Industrial farming of animals in confinement (where they get sick and easily infect each other and eventually humans) is probably much worse than that. And it's the standard practice of modern meat industry.
1
They did not seem guilty at all to me. Unlike your religiously brainwashed mind.
1
They are also probably paid by someone for their thuggery. That little detail usually is not mentioned among all the "patriotism".
1
Same true for every high ranking politician, it's an inherently dirty business to protect "national interests".
1
well this vid sort of asks for it, with the guy comparing atheism to drugs
1
the problem is escapism - you can escape reality until it catches up with you
1
lolwut?
1
yep there are also quite a few inconsistencies in the film, makes you wonder how much was left out by the authors to make a "good story". some statements seem to have been picked too, in order to sound trendy. overall a poorly made and dishonest doc on what could have been an interesting topic
1
maybe it's because they're a bunch of clowns and the only scam victim is you watching them (ok, maybe the vice "reporter" too)
1
no, these laws just tend to stop some "accidents". as in psycho guy or disgruntled employee or anxiety-driven teen grabbing a gun and shooting around themselves out of frustration.
