  2.  @ThatGuy-ot9uv  I wouldn't be so sure - after all once you jump you have to hit the water one way or another. And if you are an older person, you may have pre-existing neck problems (of which you might not be fully aware) which may add to this risk. And of course apart from the neck, falling a bit flat on chest or face can be a very unpleasant experience.
