@weetwteqtwtwwt polyurethane foam clothing and mylar blankets will be the next big technological hit among the heat pump installers.. unfortunately those blankets rustle a lot and don't let out perspiration, but it's a small price to pay for saving the climate ... or defeating putin ... or something

You don't need smoke in a can, you just need a hot pan with some oil past smoking temperature. Cold-pressed canola oil or sunflower oil work great for causing false alarms (but if this method breaks your smoke detector, don't blame me).

Google richsoil microheating

So basically you are trading an old invention which works perfectly for a new one which has a number of worrying caveats, is more expensive, and the only visible benefit is that... well... it agrees with the belief system of current politicians?

A year ago if you entered some shops without face nappy some people would burn you at stake. Today, after wasting hundreds of billions of dollars, nobody gives a fuck. Funny how things change. But the people who stole the money from you are still at large - THAT does not ever change.

Unfortunately, your sweater will not make the wet towels dry faster and won't remove mold from under your carpet. (Coming from someone who has lived without heating for 2 years.) P.S. Hands get really cold for office work. You feel sleepy all the time. Constant exposure to cold temperatures not great for long-term health... there are studies on that, too.

@swedmiroswedmiro1352 It's actually not a carpet, it's a wall-to-wall fitted floor carpet that I can't remove in a rented apartment. You don't need to tell me how to dress - as I said, I've lived 2 winters in these conditions (the average temperature in the morning was 8C). Wearing warm clothing and a hat was of course the norm, I actually removed some clothing when I went outside (because it was too warm to move around in). During the day I used a local electric 100W heater pointed directly at my body - 100W/h is about what the body loses in heat. It's all doable (except for the vapor condensing everywhere), but it is not what most modern people consider as a comfortable living standard. It's a far cry from sitting in light clothes at 24-25C, which is a much more enjoyable and relaxed experience overall.

No. The perverted outlet must be destroyed permanently.
