  2. I must have been listening to something different, but I only caught the last third. The woman I heard said "gnarly" every third word and had the vocabulary of a seven-year-old when not parroting boilerplate talking points that had been put in her head. She may be a nice gal, but I'm not sure she's actually the combination of Jesus Christ and the Buddha. 🤣

  7. Now ... about the background you have to have to get the jobs he got out of school. He went from Princeton directly into the foreign service with his first job being as vice consul in Switzerland. It's most people's experience that the real-world learning only takes place once they're actually in the real world. But Kennan isn't getting that job with a degree from Dakota State University.

  8.  @alanniederlitz8630  Actually, it does appear that he needed the degree. He had to pass the testing and interview process to actually get into the foreign service. Regardless, my basic point was that it's not exactly exceptional to claim that your real-world education began with real-world experience. That's kind of everyone. I assume that all the CAPS were because you were stroking while typing. Take care.

  14. Oh, it's VERY easy to tell she didn't get the sort of public school education most of us have access to in non-urban areas. The thoughts that she's not parroting are basically limited to the vocabulary of a 7-year-old. 🤣
