  1. The thing is, no one was asking for a particularly detailed account. The story put out there was so vague that the accused was set up to not be able to provide any real evidence to counter the assault claim. Yet the accusation could not withstand the most modest scrutiny. And it wasn't because some details of that night were in a fog. Ford did not fail because she couldn't remember enough of the particulars from that evening. She failed because the details she did claim to remember - amid PLENTY of vagaries that she put out there - were shown to at least be questionable if not flat-out incorrect.

  2. How stupid can Vox get? You do realize you'll be asking that question every couple of weeks, right? Vox has not yet plumbed the depths of stupidity when it comes to these issues.
