  1. It collapsed precisely for the reasons stated at the beginning of the video. All of these channels basically encouraged people to go on Rotten Tomatoes and vote it down regardless of whether they had seen it. Because it is an inorganic rating, the percentage is meaningless. That's why RT decided it needed to change its rating system. I understand the issues people have with the film and with Brie Larson. But that is a separate issue from why the rating dropped so low. We need to be honest with ourselves.
