@luxurybuzz3681 I don't think she is speaking of a specific. There are just some people you encounter in life who come off as completely fake, regardless. Alpha happens to be one of those people. He seems to be selling all the time. I know that is technically the point of these videos, but to those of us who don't want to be aware that we are being sold all the time it's very annoying.

You sound like that gal in her late 30s (looking like 10 miles of bad road after too much time having "fun" with her girlfriends at the bars for 20 years), who says, "I'm not going to lower my standards just to have someone with me." We all know that her single status did not hinge on her being "too picky."

I think a problem a lot of people have with Aaron, is precisely the fact that he IS always selling. This incessant hucksterism has driven quite a few people away from the channel, although as long as he continues to put out decent quality there is always the chance to broaden his reach and replace those people. There are people in life that you experience who come off as fake. And when we are aware that someone is constantly selling us something, we don't find it charming and worthy of praise and honor. We simply find that person annoying. Aaron has a tendency to come off as one of those people. I don't believe he is a bad person. But I also think we need to acknowledge that there is an argument to be made that there is a little bit of insincerity that creeps in when it is all about the money and the sponsorships - especially when we see some item being pimped that happens to be made by a videos sponsor that we know will be out of fashion in a couple of years. To me, I began to realize that the channel is more about fashion than it is style. For those of you who do not know the difference, style is damn nearly bulletproof and timeless. Think classic tuxedos. Fashion Is dead in 18 to 36 months. Think 90% of the garbage watches people are trying to sell you on style channels on YouTube. That's all. I need to go find someone to tailor my t-shirts now. 😄
