  2. LoneWolf True. But it's becoming increasingly obvious that people have little tolerance for scenes in which dogs are killed.

  3. LoneWolf And when they play for laughs like in the "Final Destination" movies, even more so. I don't really get emotional about the dogs. But, depending on how they do it, I'm more like, "Did they HAVE to do it like that?"

  4. If the writers possessed genius, they wouldn't have to have the villain kill a dog in order to get us to dislike him. That's pretty cheap.
