Thing is, some of these changes actually portray the world in a LESS accurate way.

They pump out a LOT of vids. There can't possibly be much thought that goes into them. Heck, check out the ones about the best "one-hit wonders." In the intro they admit that the bands may have had more than one hit, but are mainly REMEMBERED for one hit. So, basically, some of their one-hit wonders are not one-hit wonders. But, hey, ya need 10 for a list, right?

Of course. And why point out the actual enemies when we can use something more generic that actually muddles reality?

iamlarryjones jr. Not really sure how that's a response to my post, but okay.

iamlarryjones jr. I didn't write anything of the kind. If you're going to respond, please respond to what's actually written, not your interpretation and extrapolation of it. I was pretty straightforward.

iamlarryjones jr. If you're going to put something in quotes, at least get the friggin' word right. I think we've come about as far as we're going to come in this discussion. Take care.

Listen to almost any interview after an NBA finals game and tell me that those players are being "ironic" in how they speak.

Note how Mojo and the like pretend that "change" and "progress" are synonymous.

Did anyone notice that in some of these cases we have moved toward LESS accurate portrayals of reality?

benjovi55 Oh sure! The next thing you're going to tell me is that "Sixteen Candles" is NOT about rape!

Of course, black-face hasn't really been a thing in a century, and red-/yellow-face haven't really been done since the 1960s, but let's pretend this is a relevant entry. Even when black-face was used in "Soul Man" and "Tropic Thunder," it was drawing attention to itself - not used as a method to allow whites to portray blacks.
