Oh yeah. There have been millions of "racists" created since this nonsense all started.

I agree that this woman has presented not a shred of believable evidence regarding whether the shameless networking whore we unleashed on your poor prince has been the victim of racism. But son, before you start spouting about how the U.S. is "one of the most racist countries in the world" you might want to: 1) Visit more of the world 2) Compare your demographics to those in the U.S. I know there are many people in UK who take great pride in declaring themselves to not be racist. And likely rightfully so as far as their personal experience has taken them. I'm sure I'm not speaking for all Americans, but I'm also sure I'm not alone in saying that UK and Europe in general are in the FETAL stage of learning what it's actually like to live in a racially diverse country, whereas the U.S. has been a petri dish for centuries in this regard. Before you start, no. Centuries of war and conquest don't count when all you're doing is shifting white folks around on a map. Even given all of this, I wouldn't say that the U.S. has a perfect approach. We're a little too free out here sometimes to be able to keep the noise down long enough to actually positively engage on some issues. It's a lot more difficult for us to put a man on trial for training his dog to give a Nazi salute or to jail Tommy Robinson. As both of our situations unfold, it will be interesting to see what IS done compared with what SHOULD BE done. I'm not optimistic where either of us is concerned. Just don't prance around calling my country "racist" until you've walked a kilometer in our shoes.

@celticwarrior777 I can't say I'm surprised. I believe that there's a recent study I've heard quoted that concluded that to find whites are last or close to last when it comes to the most racist groups in the U.S. Although obviously - despite how common the phrase is - there is no "reverse" racism any more than there's such thing as "side" effects. There's just racism and effects.

I would be very careful if judicial review is more or less a new or untried thing in UK. Once you allow too much of it, the judiciary becomes lord over all other branches of government. It's certainly no longer co-equal in the US. Circuit Court judges can stop executive orders regardless of legal precedent, and the only check on that seems to be yet another level of courts. I kind of for the Andrew Jackson approach of acknowledging the court's opinion, then challenging it to enforce that opinion.

This is aside from the fact that if you remove the number of "unarmed black people" who were going for the officer's weapon, endangering others and/or otherwise resisting arrest, you can count the number of times it happens in the U.S. every year pretty much on one hand.

THIS is what a disingenuous person looks like - pretending to have NO idea why anyone would oppose making political and social statements on the field while on the company dime.

Damn. How many seconds did this guy "live" in the U.S.? Did he ever leave the metro that he called home? First, it should be pointed out that the segregation is selective. People are choosing freely to live with "their own kind" or are economically segregated, which does occur in UK. When I joined the Army and we arrived at Basic Training, the black men segregated themselves from the rest of us immediately. Second, the U.S. doesn't have institutional racism either. That's illegal, and if it pops up it's punished. Third, whether the U.S. is "violent" is subjective. Almost no civilians walk around carrying guns, for example. There are dangerous areas of metros but THAT occurs in UK as well. But you have to leave the large cities once in awhile to realize that a country that is foreign to you is not represented by places like NYC and DC.
