  3.  @WomBatMan223  I've never heard him make any solid argument that wasn't obvious and/or already being made by many other people. I worked in the media in Pa. about 20 years ago and we had contact with the people who edited his column in Philly. They swore up and down that they deserved a co-byline for basically having to rewrite everything he gave them, it was always written so poorly. Maybe they needed someone who REALLY knew how to spell "loquacious." 🤣

  6.  @gjergjjiim1615  But people have to actively seek out something like UFC Countdown. Casual sports fans don't do that. The names need to get out there more as top athletes in general rather than being great in their own little corner of the landscape.

  7. I worked in the media in Pa. more than a decade ago. We were familiar with the copy editor who was in charge of everything Smith wrote. He told us the copy was so bad when submitted that he (the editor) should have been added to the byline, given how much he had to fix and change to make things readable and coherent.

  8. Not fair. I worked in the business in Pa. while Smiff was regularly writing his column in Philly. We were familiar with the guy in charge of editing Smiff's writing. Squidward is MUCH smarter than Smiff.
