The same thing was done by a doctor from a small town in Colorado (traveling to visit family when he was giving people under his care instructions to avoid traveling). He got CoVid and was very sick, having a police escort to the Denver hospital, because he didn’t want anyone to put themselves at risk by driving him (I guess it didn’t occur to him to drive to a hospital with no escort). It didn’t bother this doctor at all that he put everybody out for him. Taxpayers had to pay the police escort, and the small town (2 to 4 hours away from Denver) were without a doctor (this man being the only doctor in that town) for 1 or 2 months (Denver would not loan a doctor to that area, because of course, they were short on staff). The small town doctor was happily giving an interview on a radio station (where I heard this), and treating his thoughtless actions as a big adventure.
