@chraffis Yeah because Jon is known to never insert any jokes or puns inside his videos… Come on guys, CD/DVD/BR are still well-known we're not talking about cassette tape or floppy here.

@paulmichaelfreedman8334 no you're not. It's a potential candidate for SMIC if they can't get their hands on EUV. And with high government subsidies they can manage the lower throughput of NIL.

@paulmichaelfreedman8334 Are you sure we are talking about the same industrial service? because AFAIK the massive offset printing industry doing books, posters, newspapers, labels or packaging still uses ink through the lithography technique.

@paulmichaelfreedman8334 again, it depends on the scale. Though even the on-demand and small quantity services that conveniently use digital print, they use industrial ink or resin printers, not the laser technique. And remember we're talking about industrial production, not consumer or office devices who have other requirements and other safefy rules (toner nanoparticles are very hazardous).

@chocoball604 you're confusing millenials (gen Y) with the gen Z. And even the gen Z young adults know those as vinyl, cassette and floppy are still part of the 80's 90's retro aesthetic revival.

@paulmichaelfreedman8334 digital printing suffers the same issues than 3D printing plastic/resin : it doesn't scale that well, doesn't work on as much support/material and the result is not as good (laser toner printing can't compete with the large choice of ink colors and quality).
