  1. ​ @cyrusthegreat3081  The socialism you've experienced was inspired by Marxism-Leninism and it's quite the opposite from the social-anarchism ideology of the actual Western leftists. Also social-democracy is flourishing in Northern and Western Europe for almost a century (thanks to laborers parties and syndicalism) although not a single country turned into socialist dictatorship like in USSR. In fact USA is just the latest developed country to operate this societal transition.
