  1.  @fleurdewin7958  As Scott Franco said, the writing endurance of SSDs is not an issue anymore, especially in the storage server where archives/backups jobs don't wear them much. Although HDDs don't last long in other server applications. In fact the main disadvantage is the cost, and only the cost, as it's totally feasible to manufacture a densely populated SSD larger in capacity than any HDD.
