@travelguy6424 i think the reason is that Panama use to be a very poor part of Colombia so only blacks live there because of that most whites moved from there to Bogota, Cali,Tunja etc because the big cities had better conditions and more status I guess.

They have more slaves back in the day in Panama, but only Colombians in the interior of the country are light skinned in the cost they are darker.

@travelguy6424 Probably because they have more ports, for example in Colombia most dark skinned people live in the coast near cities that were important ports back then. Those ports received slaves for centuries.

@travelguy6424 Nah they stay there because it was better to stay in Panama due to the war that was raging in Colombia back then.
