  1.  @DynamicDurge  No need am from South America, I have seen it, in Colombia for example the Galil is the main army standard issue rifle, in the past was the AR model, nowadays is the ACE model and in the future will be the Cordoba model, in the other hand guerillas could be FACRR or ELN use AKs, some freedom fighter use M-16s if they are right wing like the CONTRAS in Nicaragua or the AUC in Colombia. Other Galil use are Honduras, Cota Rica, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Dominican Republic. Galils are such a beloved weapon here that INDUMIL in Colombia bought the Galil patent and license from the Israeli government to produce it here in Colombia from now on.
