  4.  @NCTRX  Colombia don't use paratroopers in counter-guerrilla operations because they end always trapped in trees on the jungle. Also, this is an air-assault so speed is key a parachuting takes quite a while and can't be done near enemy positions cuz you risk your men to be killed or capture easily.

Not much, the Mi 24 Hind is attack helicopter designed having in mind that it will be shot at because its mission is close air support, the BH is a transport helicopter designed transport 11 fully equipped soldiers or 20 lightly equipped soldiers in the other hand the Mi 24 Hind 8 soldiers, so the Hind sacrifices load capacity for armour and the BH sacrifice armour for load capacity so different roles, different benefits and weaknesses.
