The people the movies call the Russian Mafia and the people the neocons call a democratic government are the same people.

How could Russia have lost 500,000 men when her ultimate goal was to create an army of one and a half million? One day in the future. That's a third of their maximum possible plans. So, how could that be and why did he believe it so easily? Psychologists would call it 'wishful thinking'.
