Iran has stated they have no interest in nuclear weapons. They enrich uranium for medical isotopes, which the US prevents them from buying through sanctions. As a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iran is entitled to research nuclear technology up to the point of manufacturing a weapon. "Desperate to hang onto power" - Putin has an approval rating of over 80% of Russians. "Sham election" - It will be to the same election standards and scrutiny as the rest of the world. How could you describe politicians in the UK and US as being on the balls of their feet?
