  1. It's interesting that Putin clarified that although there was Parliamentary approval to send peacekeepers, they wouldn't necessarily be sent immediately. Is this why GB News is still using the same clips of military vehicles from last week - because NO Russian tanks had 'invaded' Ukraine?!!! So the sanctions are in operation BEFORE Putin does anything! Everyone seems to forget that the West installed a right-wing Government in Ukraine in 2014. They have since been ethnic cleansing the people in the Donbas, which was why they became separatist. 8 years on, the Ukraine Army is still killing Eastern Ukrainians. Putin refused to accept the applications by Donetsk and Luhansk to join the Russian Federation in 2014. Perhaps the only way Russia can protect the ethnic Russians in the Donbas is by recognising the regions as independent. The West has no interest in defending the East Ukrainians - only in damaging Russia's economy - any excuse for sanctions! Every Foreign Secretary (Hammond, Johnson, Hunt, Raab and Truss) turned a blind eye to the ethnic cleansing in Donbas!
